A few months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan Trecartin when he came to Emily Carr University for a lecture. I expected him to be, I don’t know, crazy and loud or something but he was quite calm, humble and he had a refreshing and honest presence that made me appreciate his work even more.

The Walking House by N55

N55 is, in their own words “a platform for persons who wants to work together, share places to live, economy, and means of production.” N55 is based in Copenhagen and they make awesome things that you can build (or partake in) with manuals they provide on their very scandinavian website.

It is my dream to build and live in something like their amphibious Micro Dwellings. I could also shave my head and eyebrows and listen to Brian Eno all day.
